Re: Escape Abroad

I love living in Scotland. I could enjoy living in Italy or Ireland as I have enjoyed many happy times in both countries. I would not move from friends & family at this stage of my life but I never say never, who knows what lies ahead.

Oh yessss! I stayed in Paihia for a few nights on the coach tour. Went on the boat ride and of course found the supermarket up the road.

Did you know the actor Michael Crawford now lives in the BoI? Wish I'd known that at the time: would have looked out for him. When did I find out? Reading a NZ paper on the flight home. Tee hee.

Re: Escape Abroad

I´ve lived in Kenya and I now live in Spain, I´m happy here, but I miss the Kenyan wildlife, that includes some of the locals, but if I were very wealthy I´d be off to Singapore without any hesitation.

Re: Escape Abroad

I might head for rural Mallorca given the chance. But I can't afford the property there! Canada might be another option.
