[QUOTE=Tpin;812160]Hahaha that's really funny. You have a wonderful, dry sense of humour.

More like a John Candy look-a-like.

A John Candy look-a-like , you say ?

That's the man.
What a shame he died so young.

A bit like Elvis, too young to die, too fat to live.

I liked his films, lighthearted clean entertainment.
He always came across as the gentle, likeable buffoon.

I'm not quite as big, I'm gentle and a buffoon, not sure about likeable.

At the moment I can't get enough of Hunter S Thompson, I love his quotes, my favourite is the one in my sig.but here's another good one.

A man who procrastinates in his choosing will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance..

Michaleen Flynn: "He's a nice, quiet, peace-loving man, come home to Ireland to forget his troubles. Sure, yes, yes, he's a millionaire, you know, like all the Yanks. But he's eccentric - ooh, he is eccentric! Wait 'til I show ya... his bag to sleep in - a sleeping bag, he calls it! Here, let me show you how it operates."

Michaleen Flynn: "No patty-fingers, if you please. The proprieties at all times. Hold on to your hats. "

"Here's a good stick to beat the lovely lady with"

Thats a very good quote. Thus, I would toast to your life and say.. Linz, a lady who realized at a early age that life is not a chance happening, rather one of ones own doing. Thus, Linz never played the craps in Vegas or the lottery

Re: Actor on the Stage of Life

Ah I too loved John Candy in films.
We must never forget John Wayne’s brilliant line at the foot of the cross in “The Greatest Story Ever Told” “Aw truly this man was the son of Gad” All he was short of was the rollup smoke hanging out of his mouth, the compassion just oozed out of him.
