Re: What would you rather live without

Laptop/PC
I can do everything(almost)from my phone so wouldn't be such a big loss.

Re: What would you rather live without

I too feel safer with my mobile ( not smart) phone.
In fact i feel distinctly unsafe without it .
I love the ipad but these things are addictive and children ( and oldies ) increasingly cannot live without them.

Bahahaha. Absolutely, why do people want cars, white goods or electricity? we got on perfectly well without them. We could walk everywhere, use candles, learn the piano...

Pah! stuff and nonsense! all these new fangled things, bring back the dark ages I say.

Re: What would you rather live without

Haven't got a tablet or laptop.

Haven't got an iPhone.

Hardly use mobile (I take it with me just in case, but must remember to charge it up).

But I do feel bereft when the computer is down.

Re: What would you rather live without

What I would rather live without is my phone which is only switched on when leaving the house and is on so that dil can always contact us. A lot of my social life is via the laptop.

In practical terms, I would give up the laptop simply because we drive a lot and I would feel safer not to have to struggle to find a phone if we break down.
