What was a bit odd was there were several high powered cars in the carpark, lambos etc.plus very stylish young men. I think they were some sort of club, quite noisy though.
I was sad to find the bittern hide had been vandalised, all the viewing windows smashed.

Sadly damage to hides is quite common, any booming Bitterns TessA ?

It took me ten years before i connected with a Bittern, the following year i saw five in Northumberland alone, i had hoped to hear one booming up here one day.

No Nom, we thought we heard one though! They've got a path called Bittern Walk. It's lovely full of reeds and marshes. I'll post pics later.

Tess, the Bristol Post's annual Motor and Leisure Show was held at Cribbs Causeway over the weekend so that may have been something to do with it

Ah, thanks Mags, I wondered if there was a rally or something. Some were a bit vintage looking too, a Caprice which was in excellent condition was one make I recognised.
