It is the hospital prescriptions which have caused me problems in the past, been dosed with stuff and had allergic reactions, in spite of previous instances being recorded in my notes.
Statins gave me so much intense pain I had to stop them. I don't think they listen to patients!
I take them, but I dropped to every other day instead of every day. I had the muscle weakness in my legs, they felt like they were made of cement. My doc says my cholesterol is normal, even with the every other day dose.
Years ago my GP put me on Statins, don't know why because my Cholestral has always been low at 4. I had so much muscle pain that eventually I could not walk, and my Husband took me to the Hospital and they took me off them, now i'm ok.

Good to hear Susie, some GP`s wont believe you, i now check everything im put on and monitor myself closely.
I just found out by reading an old letter from my clinic to the GP, that i have a condition known as Charcot foot, the letter was sent to the GP in April, telling them to review my medication with me.

Guess what they never did.
That's awful. Have you asked them about it now?
You don't know whether to give up trying, or just strangle someone at times.
