I can't remember the year but there was lots of rain and sluices had to be opened. This one is in full flow. Hard to realise how much water is running off without seeing the bottom of the gully in normal times. It is about 5 feet below the waterline seen here.

Enough of a flow for the fire service to come and take a look. Not sure what they could do though.

Though I'm no admirer of spiders, I do admire their work.
