Gosh.
I had to give up doll's. For some unknown reason they were ruining me street cred?.....

Back to cars though. When I was a lad and dating, the ladies seemed to prefer bikes for some reason?
However, I was also lucky and had a car. A Ford Capri....

I passed my driving test when l was 19 and had my own car but if l went out with a boy and he hadn't passed his driving test by 21, I thought there was something wrong with him!
If he had an ordinary car that was, ok but any boy who had a high prestige car, could never have had a girlfriend to be able to afford such a car! Unless it was his dad's!!

Hi

Could not afford a car when young, so had to walk the girlfriends home.

It was often raining in Huddersfield, so frequent stops in Bus Shelters.
