I love a good beard but there are just too many unkempt ones about of late . I long to get at them with the dog shears

Ones that give off noxious fumes mups usually gum removers and degreasers they can make you faint if you sniff them.

I think beards are very aging. My husband had one years ago when he was a head teacher. For a charity event he was sponsored to get one of the kids to shave half of it off. He never regrew it. One of his nephews has a beard and looks years older than my husband, even though he is only in his 50s and my husband will be 70 later this month.

One thing which should be banned are comb overs. I have told my husband if he ever goes in for one I will divorce him on the spot!
