Hi Troopie, Isn't that amazing how even members of your family did not realise the extent of your deafness. Must have been really interesting being able to know what your SIL was actually saying under her breath!!

Does she now know the situation, which would be a shame because she will now be more careful in front of you!!

Jemflux, I think you are quite right. Equally, folk do tend to blame something else, like you said either someone seems as though they are talking quietly, or the TV is on too low. Rather than we need something to rectify the problem!
