Nothing Annie. They didn't have to. Angela Merkel has always been very good at using the policies from other parties and making them the policies of the CDU. In this election there were no new policies. It was all same old, same old.Politics have gone stagnant in Germany. The only party to speak out with any real passion was the AfD. I hope it wakes up the rest of the democrats and the greens otherwise there'll be trouble on the streets. The protests started last night.

They are right to protest. The last time the far right had any power in Germany it devastated the country and the rest of Europe. Germany is not a normal country when it comes to the far right. Alarm bells should be ringing everywhere and it's time for the EU to review their approach to refugees and try to find a more intelligent solution with the countries neighbouring crisis areas..

The UK, then the US and now Germany all protesting the outcome of legitimate elections. Who's next?

Mein Kampf was published many years earlier. He created a massive propaganda machine to tell people what they wanted to hear. He grabbed power via a coalition. We have the benefit of hindsight now.

Peaceful protest yes, but when the mob start throwing bottles and other missiles it's anything but peaceful protest.

A bit closer to home, the militant left have threatened Tory MPs both personally and as part of a campaign of intimidation especially during the last election campaign when women were targeted in spite of what happened to Jo Cox.

More threats by extreme Left...

I don't think we have Annie, the EU has shafted us all over again but just by a different method.....

Re: German Election.

It was also reported at the BBC, the Evening Standard and Twitter. Look for yourself.
