Re: Loss

I've lost the thread...
Of the thread...
And some thread...
From my frayed jeans...

But I found a tenner in my pocket if that's any use!

Re: Loss

I've lost a chihuahua she's hiding somewhere. We play this game everyday ! Either under the bed of behind the dishwasher I'm guessing those are her favourite places.

Well I think we've lost Spitty now.

He started this thread and has never been seen since.

Re: Loss

Update she was inside the recliner chair. Elsie sniffed her out. Will have to block that gap she could get hurt in there.

Has anyone reported Spitty's loss, maybe we should have a Lost and Found section

'Sorry for your loss' is just a polite thing to say at a funeral, the truth is most folks don't really feel sorry at all, unless of course it was one of their own nearest and dearest. That's one kind of loss.
Another type of loss is when you have a good few quid on a horse and it comes in last, your loss but the bookies delight.
Then you have the loss of something from your pocket or handbag, money, keys, or credit card. also house robbery is an upsetting kind of loss. Weight loss can be welcomed or worrying depending on the state of your health.
But the most horrible loss of the lot to me would be dementia and the loss of one's mind, I've witnessed too many cases of this and it truly is frightening.
And don't forget what Mr. Shadrack said to Billy Liar 'A man could looose him-a-self in London'
