What a lot of people don't realise is that the haggis is actually a living creature. It bears some resemblance to the bagpipe, having four unequal-length legs and a tail.
This is because it has evolved to be able to move about efficiently on the steep slopes of mountain sides.

Aye,My local butcher has bagged a nice wee plump juicy one for Me to collect Tomorrow morning,..I'll have it with neeps and tatties for dinner,then slice up the leftovers to have for breakfast next morning with bacon,eggs,black pudding,and tattie scones

Happy Burn's day(night)
Today is also St.Dwynwen day,the Welsh St Valentine.
Dwynwen was a 4th century princess.She was unlucky in love so she became a nun.She prayed that true lovers had better luck than her. She is also the patron saint of sick animals.

I have spent Burns Night in the Highland s which was great despite being one of the coldest (and wettest) nights of my life.
