Re: Neat and tidy..a messy slob

I'm a minimalist by nature - not everything has to be excessively clean and tidy, but neat at least.

Re: Neat and tidy..a messy slob

I try to be tidy, honest I do, but I often fail

My living room never looks tidy due to the sofa and chair being blocked off to stop the dog getting on it. And the way I have the furniture arranged is not the most efficient but it's how I want it.

I do clean though, upstairs once a week, living room a couple times a week, kitchen every day, loo every day.

There's only me and the dog here so we don't make too much mess but dog hairs are a never ending battle!

Re: Neat and tidy..a messy slob

Mr Missy likes "stuff" where as I like clean surfaces

Looking around the tip of the living room right now, cat toys scattered everywhere , a spanner, cat brush, 3 pairs of glasses, 3 sets of car keys, a pile of opened mail, various devices on charge, does my head in

I won't mention the bathroom, once again a trail of destruction left by him truly. And as for why he has a double wardrobe when he prefers the floor is beyond me

However in his defence he does do his fair share around the house and more then his share outside. Right now he's servicing and washing my car ready for the MOT this week.

It just annoys me that it's the same things I'm picking up and clearing away on a daily basis

Don't get me wrong, I'm no Mrs perfection, but I hate housework and just wish we were both naturally tidy people

Mr Mud is probaby worlds most untidy person .
But he's worse in the kitchen when he cooks the food is good but somehow involves using umpteen pans dishes knives and utensils .
Also he will NOT put anything away ie cheese pate anything is left out .
Our dog is brilliant never steals food but next week ( oh God) we are dog sitting his daughters terrible dog that is a huge totally uncontrollable and steals everything that is edible and inedible .
I might leave home .
