My Grandfathers clock was too tall for the shelf,
So it stood ninety years on the shelf. (I love that song)

I learnt to tell the time with that clock when I was 3.
Good old Grandpa.

I guess the grandparents of today could do the same for their grandkids.

What I don't like about the time, is the way some people say so-many hundred' hours, like 1900 hours, instead of 7 o/clock.
I have never liked that way of doing things.

And was always his treasure and pride .

My mother used to sing this to me -I always wanted a grandfather clock .

Can remember the great Dave Alan in one of his sketches explaining to a child how to tell the time on his watch.Trying to explain about the second hand,it was so funny.

Used by the military to avoid any confusion, I have my digital watch set this way and I prefer it
