Hi

Thanks for that OGF.

He is 11 and going through Puberty.

A difficult time for him, especially as he is Autistic.

He is fascinated by boobs, but Mum and sister do not count.

Mum has put internet on Safe Search.

When you are 11 this is not a good thing.

Today all the children are planting wild flowers seeds in the paddock in front of the house I gave my DILaw a big box of seed bombs for christmas...

Re: Keeping them amused...

What a pleasure it is to get the reports of the forum grandkids!

Carol, like you, my thoughts are for the parents of special needs children who must also keep working and otherwise manage their homes and lives.

I can't help think that for most kids, this will turn out to be a wonderfully formative time for them during which they will be learning the basics of living (cooking, growing food, repairing, garden work, sewing, etc.) that busy parents rarely have the time to do and schools rarely teach.

Re: Keeping them amused...

Hi Carol!

I haven't seen any of my 8 GG Children since all this virus fun began.

Except on Messenger, which is better than nowt!

Problem coming up, with Easter, as I have always bought easter eggs, for all of my descendants, since time began.

This year, though, some are saying "Oh Chocolate is not good for them "

Anyway, I have a plan to move Easter back a month or two, so that I can get them altogether for an Easter Party. (with EGGS).

I bet none of the young ones turn down the Easter Eggs (which I will buy just after Easter to get a better price.)

Re: Keeping them amused...

Isn't it awful Ted missing them so much.....they face time me every day and send me drawings and paintings but it's not like a hug or a proper little chat.

I bought Easter eggs ages ago...like you though I will put Easter back until it's safe ....then what a party that will be

That's very nice of you to say Pauline, not only have you made my day, but you have been elevated to the top of my Christmas card list....
