Now come on AB, surely you give your dear wife a hand in the kitchen at times?

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

I always set my coffee machine up so that whoever is up first can push the button to start the day with a lovely fresh coffee aroma. I couldn't do without my electric can opener and my microwave gets used a lot, and just imagine a life without a toaster or an electric kettle. (Yoiks to scary)

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

Not sure if they counts as "gadgets", but I could not do anything without my very sharp knives. But even when I have these sharp knives - what would I do without a wok??

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

I think the knives count as cutlery, and I wouldn't be without my potato peeler either.

My slow cooker. I don't use it very much, but I'd hate to be without it.

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

Yes number one would have to be Potato peeler as I cant peel with a knife and if pots were called for it would have to be oven chips, wouldnt like that at all.

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

I can't use a potato peeler! I have a small bladed knife, about 3", which I peel potatoes with, scrape carrots etc. I absolutely adore that little knife, but I wouldn't call it a gadget.

Re: Favourite Kitchen Gadget

Same here Mollie, I've had this small sharp knife for years and that's the only one I can use to peel potatos etc with. It's been chucked out with the peelings and 'saved' many a time.
