Me too, although I've decided to do a few things over this Bank Holiday, but I won't over-do things.

Re: Easter

Have my family coming on Sunday so will be preparing lots of goodies to suit all tastes.

As the weather doesn't promise to be much, we will be relaxing for the rest of the weekend.

Re: Easter

I done nothing today, just enjoyed not going in to work. Tomorrow (Sat) is my birthday and have nothing planned, just a quiet day with my dogs.
Sun I am going over to my parents for tea.
Monday if its not pouring of rain as forecast I am off to a greyhound show with my two greyhounds.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing.

Re: Easter

Happy Easter to you all. Here it is called Santa Semana and a very important festival time. Last night we went to see the Good Friday procession in a local town, it's always spectacular and very moving, also very long, we got home again around 1.30 a.m. Here are a few photos, I hope you like them.

This one is the ex pat tableau, carried by 80 men

Re: Easter

It is very spectacular Mags, but always cancelled if it rains, those tableaus are worth many thousands of euros and they take great care of them. The slow swaying marches to the drum beats are incredible. Everyone goes home with sweets handed out by the pointy hat nuns. Here are a few more photos.

Re: Easter

Lovely photographs Loretta I no longer belong to a religion but can appreciate the pageant and historical aspect of the procession.
