Precisely.

If it is only a single advert people are more likely not to go off and make a cup of tea, or skip through five minutes of ads.

Mute them its no big problem sitting through them as long as you can't hear the dribble.

With a fast forwarding facility you don't need to keep sitting there every 15 minutes, waiting 5 minutes for it to start up again.
