As for alleged land theft that is at the very least moot from the get-go. International law concerning territorial gain following war though not explicit has by precedence inclined towards accepting that if an aggressor has land occupied by the defending nation then part or all of such land becomes a part of the territory of the defending nation.
For a quick and dirty example, one of many, consider the land lost by Germany during WW1 and 2.
The really tragic thing is that the ONLY thing preventing peace in this part of The Levant is that Israel has noone prepared to make a lasting peace with her.
Not a peep out of the newly named 'Palestinians ' when Jordan held the West Bank for 19 years !
Truly how can Israel make peace when the other side won't even come to the peace table much less sit at it!

As long as they are ruled by Muslim governments the very best that can be hoped for would be to accept Israel as Dar ul-Sulh which means house of treaty where an armistice has been established. But keep in mind just what an armistice is ----

In Islam a land / nation once beaten and possessed by Muslims becomes for all time a wafq, a place that will always be islamic and if won back it becomes the sacred duty of Muslims to recover it.
The land on which modem day Israel is established is ---- you've guessed it!
Actually it's not just Israel that's in the sights of the likes of hamas, Spain is definitely on the menu because it along with a number of other bits of Europe are wafq's because for a while as a result of the invasion by Muslim hoards they became -----
