Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Smallest grandson to swimming this morning while Jamie and I walked the dog along the river in Builth. Then a spot of lunch in Burger King (!) listening to rally cars touring the showground.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Lovely warm sunshine here and no rain .Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Hello . The fire alarm was on the agenda in the meeting yesterday . They said that we must all leave the building and go to the fire point at the bottom of car park and stay there until given the all clear . They said that they were worried about me putting myself in danger by phoning handiman and then going down to the foyer and checking where the fire was etc . So in future I must leave the building by the door outside my flat and then stay outside in safety . ?who would phone handiman or 999 There is no phone signal in Caswell and I am one of the few who has a land-line . So I don't think so ??? How could I live with myself if I didn't even try ??? I'm MAD xxxRe: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
That sounds like a lot of box ticking and not much common sense Jac, but perhaps it's better to do as "they" say.
