Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 1)

I love west Wales if I was younger I would move there.
Whenever I cross the border into Wales I feel I am going home

I first went to Mid Wales many years ago with my husband and was unimpressed.

Then in 2001 when Foot and Mouth made it impossible to walk anywhere around Worcestershire, to get away I booked a holiday cottage at Cwymn Connel and was immediately converted to West Wales.
I have been there many times since and have stayed in some memorable cottages between St Davids and Newport Village. It is just the most amazing place .

Lovely photos, your dog is well camouflaged on the beach Meg.

Ah Jac, swimming in the sea when it's dark - wouldn't I enjoy that this evening. The little boys were swimming in the Wye at Glasbury this afternoon while I sat under an umbrella and melted!!

Cool at last now, after driving home from Craft Club with the windows open - and being escorted by an owl. Will probably melt tomorrow, as I'm off to the Show at sparrowfa*t. Working on the Air Ambulance stand and hoping to see some friends on the Welsh Ploughing Association stand (which is conveniently opposite - and has shade)
