I've just spent last 4 hours trying to make sense of several websites trying to get away from thumbnails and enlarging picture to no avail. I have matchsticks keeping my eyes open at moment but still peservering trying one more thing before bed

Ok, let me make it simple for you.
https://postimages.org/
Click on the link.
Keep do not resize my image.
Download your image from your computer.
Choose the second code - Direct link.
Choose the envelope at the top - Insert image.
Delete the http://, then paste your code.
Preview your post, then submit.
Any more problems PM me, or ask on this thread.

SP, I am stuck. (computer illiterate!!) I did what you said upto the second one "direct link" but then you said go to envelope at top - insert image. I wish I could?? LOL. the only envelope I can see is an email envelope. where is this envelope please because I cannot see any other than the email one!! sorry to be so thick but that ruddy envelope is being really elusive!

This 'envelope' to look for' Shroppy is at the top of your reply box..... it looks like a square with two mountains on a yellow background.

grr! I give up! there is no blue envelope with yellow mountain on the page. or an "insert image" message anywhere.
Never mind, will make do with the thumbnail size.

See where you are typing your message? Below that are the words "go advanced". Click on that and all the editing options come up. It's the little mountain box you need to click on

shropshiregirl i think you clicking the wrong box select the yellow box that looks like an envelope remove the http from there and paste your uploaded link into it.
