I think that, if this deal turns out not to have any hidden stumbling blocks, that Boris might be sure of retaining a Conservative majority in 2024.
If he then abolishes the House of Lords, the Supreme Court and the compulsory TV licence, there's a very good chance he and his party will be in power for many more years afterwards.
I have to agree.
Even before the deal Starmer's popularity was very low and his likelihood of leading the country were very slim, and it serves the dithering slimeball right too.
Boris stands a very good chance of becoming very popular among the electorate if - in addition to proving Brexit to be beneficial - the promised reforms to procurement, the civil service and the HoL become reality.
What we have seen so far on the first two is promising; as for the third, we can hope.
