Don't you think the production company set it up though ? I certainly think they will have said to them to do it like that. Don't think most of them would have raised the subject without prompting of some sort. Al's intervention seemed almost scripted.

No, I don't think it would have. I haven't seen it yet Julie as itvplayer want me to remove my adblocker before I can watch it.

However, I remember Ant and Dec asking Lucy why she held her tongue in camp and she said it was because of the cameras - I don't see what would have changed. Even if producers ask you to behave badly, you don't have to agree.

I think they probably did it to have their own say back though, when all say the same thing then the person being criticised really needs to look at their own behaviour really. If she has simply said sorry held her hands up and accepted some of what they said it would have been very different IMO.

They do have a right to reply but why the need to do it so publicly and spoil everyone else's enjoyment? Crass behaviour imo.

I can't agree it's good telly - that would have irritated me; bit glad I didn't watch it now. I don't think Lucy can take the moral high ground as she seemed to spend most of the time looking like she was sucking lemons and she did wind the others up. They could have dealt with Amy at the time but for whatever reason, they didn't. It didn't have to be confrontational but just be firm with her and they couldn't manage that!

From what has been said since they came out it sounds like they did confront her quite kindly it was only when she lied and ignored what they said it all got a bit bitchy.

Interestingly Kian the most fair minded mild man was not on her side at the end.

I wouldn't be on Amy's side either - she annoyed the heck out of me (more over her greed than anything else). Remember when Lucy was dishing out the food and Amy kept asking for more and Lucy told her that she hadn't put her own out yet? Then Lucy goes and gives it to her! It's telling Amy 'keep pestering and I'll give in' - if Amy's hand came anywhere near my meal, I would have tactfully and with classy breeding skills cracked the back of her hand with my spoon but she wouldn't do it again

I find it hard to blame Amy though when we see her father clearly the family have enabled her behaviour he just couldn't see any wrong in her. Much as I love my lot they have faults and they know I know it

That's what I meant when I said she's a product of her environment. She's always been treated as special and probably now believes everyone should feel the same about her as her family do; my son's wife is exactly the same - she even refers to herself as a little princess <puke> - she's 30 years old for goodness sake
