Do remember a young Black girl singer won a talent comp on TV made a few records and was a small star...sorry cant remember her name.
Anyway she married a White man early in her raise to fame...and then complained about the racism.
So She and her White Husband moved back to her own country...
After they moved to Nigeria the husband was complaining about the racism directed to him because he married a black women(Hastern to add by the blacks)
I had married in 1966 an Irish Girl and with objections from both familes. At the time of the Bermingham PUB bombing had to listern to my drinking mates and neighbours say not very nice things against ALL of Irish and a couple of veiled threats made about my wife but never in a million years would or thought of that being racist.
