I was in Weston Super Mare in March (when I had the pleasure of meeting our lovely Tess in Wells ) and they were getting the beach ready for the sand sculptures ... I've just looked online and they are in situ from 25th March until 10th October

It's a shame you visited a bit too early Myrtle They have a different theme each year....
