I'm into "The Ants" by Edward Wilson, and a book of letters written by Norwegian immigrants (to America) in the 1800s. Also, one of the Miss Read series, though it's on another floor and I can't remember its title. :O)
I tried a game of thrones but got about 50 pages in and decided life was too short so abandoned that one, now reading unexpected world by Chris pike first part of the emp survivor series has great reviews so hopeful it will be good.
I've just ordered The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Agnes Grey both by Anne Bronte. I can't wait until they get here. Should keep me entertained for some time.
Currently reading Death is Golden, the third book in the Three feet of sky series by Stephen Ayres.
These books are probably the strangest I have ever read and sometimes the funniest. Anyone who likes the weird and wonderful should give them a go. WARNING; Not for those that are offended by bad language and mindless violence.
Lots of Glam Rock murders in the second & third books
