I generally have at least 4 veg a day. That includes potatoes and onions. I like broccoli, cauliflower, carrots best. I don't really eat fruit anymore. I like a banana now and again and will eat a few grapes but I don't eat a lot of fruit at all.Re: 5 to 7 portions of fruit and veg
We have had salad for the last three nights as well as apple, mandarins and pineapple, so I think we have been having the 7 fruit and veg a day. The only reason we have had salad three nights on the trot is because otherwise it tends to go off and you end up throwing it away, and we cannot afford to do that.
