I occasionally get a ringing in my ears, . . . I've put it down to the wife's nagging.

Iv`e had it for a few years now got 2 hearing aids the doc prescribed telling me they would help they do a little bit but i am deaf so my OH tells me but the best bit of advice i was given was get a ticking alarm clock and it is the best thing iv`e found for getting to sleep. Noel

The ticking clock has got me thinking now.

I wonder if a Newton's Cradle would help me sleep I am fascinated by the continual click-click and it does sound a bit like a loud tick-tock!

Archie in Eastenders was playing with one of them when he was in the consultants room (a bit of useless information for you I know but it reminded me of it when I saw the picture )
