Depends on whether the `tail` of the film is protruding from the metal cannister. Most cameras wind the whole film back into the cannister when it's been used.

Yes true. I know I only ever put used film in them.

The ones in canisters are all unexposed. I use to transfer them to saved canisters when they started selling them in little foil pouches.

I did double check them yesterday, and yes, all unexposed.

Now what should I do with these cameras?

It would be really nice if they could be converted to digital by inserting some sort of sensor, but I think I'm living in Cloud Cuckoo Land!
I don't suppose that anyone is interested in buying them?

Re: 35mm film - a question for people who know about film.

I've just had a bit of trouble getting the film out. I can't find the manual that came with the camera, and the battery was pretty nigh spent, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to manually rewind it.

I kept pressing the rewind button, but nothing happened, and I'd almost given up when it started whirring very jerkily, not like the usual rewind noise, and it kept jerking for ages, but then finally and all of a sudden it rewound, so I was able to open up the camera and get it out.

I'd only used 12 of the 24 exposures.
Am dying to know what's on them!

Anyway, I googled the battery, (it's a CR-P2 lithium, non-rechargeable), and you can get them online, but I'll wait and see what the photos come out like first.

By the way, I've also got two disposable cameras, unused! I used to keep one in the car to get evidence in the event of an accident. Never used them, though.
Photoexpress develop those, too.
