Just lying in bed listening, I have never heard rain so heavy since living here, the wind is howling too!
Looked out the matches and candles just incase of power cut! You never know! Our power cables aren't good around here, I've even seen them dangling in the road flashing every time they hit the ground!

Thankfully it's quiet here tonight and the rain was not heavy

Nope, it's sunny now but the wind is picking up again! I've been out in the garden emptying water off things, there's a bit of a lake outside my back gate about 5 inches deep. No damage that I can see, phew!
