I've been vindicated in my decision not to take the jab, it's come to light that only 20% of doctors and nurses took it last year.

I think it's a bit irresponsible on their part however because they're in close contact with patients, the new vaccine against swine flu is totally different, they've not done sufficient trials with it IMO, . . . if you're thinking about taking the jab please don't be put off by me, it's your choice.

Being asthmatic I have had the injection for the last few years. I will do so again this year as my wheeziness is playing me up especially badly at the moment. The needle doesn't bother me in the least and yes, you do get a slightly achy arm but nothing much to speak of - although I'm aware others can react badly.
