Thank you all so much for your good wishes. This is the second time this ankle has been broken and it's only 2 years since I broke the other one. I am seriously accident prone.

I'm not feeling too bad today - I had a good nights sleep and friends & family have been to visit me. It's fun telling Tony what to do and he can't complain because if he doesn't do it - it won't get done! lol

I am so going to miss my walking & swimming.

Good thing I love reading and my computer.

Poor you, Carol, I'm so sorry to read of your accident and subsequent woes.
Will you have a bone density test done? It's most reassuring after a fracture (or two) and if it turns out that you need some extra calcium or a vitaminD boost it's easily remedied.

Thanks ruthio. I had a bone density test after my last break 2 years ago and the results were normal.

I'm just so clumsy.

Carol, Today, I felt so relieved to be well and able that l treated myself to a 3 pack of Gregg's jam doughnuts and a pot of thick cream! Blow the diet. You never know what's around the corner!!
I'm glad you sound in quite good spirits!

Hi carol, so sorry to hear of your little mishap, I hope you are feeling a bit better today, it's such a shame you had to cut your holiday short, but you can always go again when you are healed,
PS, tell everyone you did it skiing, it sounds so much more adventurous than falling down the stairs. …lol🏂🚑
