I also record programmes via Sky+ and fast forward them as l can't bear the adverts!
If l am watching unrecorded stuff, l use the interval to make a cup of tea or go to the lavatory, or take my make up off, or shut my gate, or even let the dog out, plus other things l can't think of at the moment!

Usually record everything free sat box and ff through most ads, but occasionally one catches our eyes and we sit transfixed. Some are better than the programmes.

I can honestly say, I have never been prompted to buy anything at all, from all the adverts they show.

Yes - you're the idiot infected with it - spending vast amounts of money buying television receiving equipment, when most of it is provided FREE OF CHARGE via FREEVIEW!!!
