It is only with huge restraint that I have not clicked on the link as I know I would be addicted! I'll just have to settle for your updates.

Earlier today, one of the eaglets, 12 days old, was retrieved from its nest as a result of a fishing line that was caught around its left leg and taken to CROW Clinic.

Upon arrival, the eaglet received an examination and radiographs to determine if there were any broken bones or internal injures. Radiographs indicate that there are no broken bones but showed signs of dehydration and weight loss.
Because of swelling in the leg, there is concern about nerve damage due to the lack of blood flow.

I am watching for news on the eaglet news but as I don't have Facebook for the expected update at mid day I am dependent on you Mags.

Solo, I'm not on FB either, I get the reports from the CROW (Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife) FB website, they mentioned they will give an update on the eaglet sometime today so I'll keep you updated

Thanks Mags. So sad that a fishing line could end this eaglets battle for survival.
