Re: Hand sizes

My hands are just 4½" 'cos am only a lickle personage, but my partner's hands were twice the size of mine, literally. My shoe size is 4 whereas his was 11.

What can it all mean?

Isn't that quite small ?
Small compared to what? A field mouse, a body builder? If you're generally a slightly built person with small feet and a slim frame then no, it's quite normal. Seems a pointless post IMO.

I would say that is not necessarily so Carole I am only 5'4' with a small frame and have large hands and feet. I have worked with tall women with a bigger frame than me who had smaller feet (not sure about their hands, we never measured them).

My late OH had big hands and feet, so I'd say it's not governed by height.

It could be, some obstetricians say they can tell the height that a baby will grow to, under optimal cirumstances, from the size of their feet when they're born.

Interesting ... I wonder how true it is or whether the feet suddenly grow into monsters.

I've been disposing of my OH's shoes ~ HUGE and sooo heavy.

He was just under 5ft 10" height but his shoes were between 10s and 12s ....
