I have absolutely no idea,i just copied and pasted the first article i come to on Google! But I will have a look,I may not know the answer?
But if i was in a dark room and had a drawer with black socks and white socks in it and i could not see them then how many would i have to take out of the drawer before i knew i had a matching pair?

Why would you go looking in a drawer in the dark? surely it would be logical to put the light on.

You don't know the answer you just said so.

Bloomin eck who's logical here me or you, mind you hubby always said there was no logic to my thinking, but very often it was right. That is my thinking was right not my husband cos he was sometimes more right than others.

The sock answer is "3"

If the first was white, then the second may be black or white, then it does not matter what the third one is, you have a matching pair if you take three socks out!

Not sure about the coloured blocks though??

Goodnight,its midnight here.

Re: The Art Of Logical Thinking

How can you see in a darkened room so you wouldn't KNOW, cos you couldn't see them however it wouldn't matter cos 2 is a pair and a matching pair is the same so if you had 1 black and 1 white sock then you would have some more matching pairs as well, yes?? So the answer is 2.
