funny they talk about people not being able to get off drugs, they want to try getting off running. I certainly found it like that if i missed my daily 6 or 10 miles. It was only Hip operation that curtailed it and I suppose age eventually.

Sorry to hear about your forced retirement from running Norway, and you are absolutely right about it being addictive, it's like accepting that there is something wrong with you if you don't go out on your usual run. Injury is the worst time, especially as age begins to take it's toll, you cultivate thoughts that perhaps this is the final countdown to a life on the sofa and boxed sets of 'Game of Thrones' and even if you do manage to carry on, after the layoff, you have been reduced to that of a novice only managing a mile at a time.....
