Glad you arrived home safe!

How long did your journey take you Michael, did you make any stops?

It usually takes about 8 hours. With a stop at Scotch Corner.
A much more interesting drive than coming all the way down the M6 through Birmingham.

Of course, I've just made the connection, Scotland through and down to London. The Pennines can be an awful pain, but in windy conditions, darned dangerous, especially going over Ripon. Glad you got back safely.

The motorways can be so boring, especially on a long journey....

Re: Wild and windy Wednesday

Been very windy day today, fairly warmish until around 6pm'ish when it started lashing it down!

Another relaxing day today, walking this morning then after dinner went off to look for two lampshades-came back with tea, coffee and sugar set and 2 pair of thermal socks for walking! Lamp shades? forgot all about them, so that means I have to go shopping again!!!!

Glad you made it home safely. It's a long drive and I bet you'll sleep well tonight.
