She appeared to be a nicer person than her father has shown himself to be at least.

Why - what's the father done? I must have missed something.

I know he didn't come to the wedding but I thought that was because of illness!

She comes across as a good Mum, reliable, supportive and in the background, there if she is needed.

What more could you ask for?

Well said swims...although I doubt in this day and age of 'public tearing down' anybody cares that she is just quietly being a Mum because it's hard to justify attacking that.
