I confess I am still in lycra though it's solid top and bottom without branding - and only when I run.
Far form optimal for the viewing public, I only wear it on the beaches (not always the best dressed around me either) and trails.
Since chafing and rising body temperatures are always an issue here (30-33 C, humidity 65-85%), lycra works better than any other material for staying in place and wicking away moisture
I know that the downside of this is my age, but as a public service to the community
I would never dress like this to go to the market, cafes.
I'll post a pic (about two years old after a race) for a second so you get the idea. I know my shelf life is running out..but it's better than streaking
