I hope the insurers will pay out. It makes you wonder, why you pay insurance in the first place!

Lucky no one was hurt, I had a neighbour who had a tree crash through her roof straight into her little girls bedroom the little girl was sleeping and a branch of the tree was inches from her chest. Incredibly the little girl slept through it all.

I'm not sure what happened regarding the insurance Julie I know it wasn't simple, because the tree fell from the next door garden so it was their insurers who had to pay up.

Nothing is ever simple is it, I hope yours pay out.

Lost material things can be purchased again in the future.
Lost lives cannot.

Along with others I do hope you overcome this Julie, just as soon as events allow.

Julie I am pleased that nobody was hurt, but I would ask others who had car,or other damage, what their insurance said, surely something has caused this problem? I would also question what checks are being done to establish that your flats are safe to remain in!

You should write a book about all the problems you have had to overcome in the last few years. I think you have coped with them tremendously well

Write a book yes that's true, I'm reminded my old nan used to say God won't send you more than you can cope with and will give you what you need not what you want. I'm feeling fairly tested these days but that's true we will cope.

Our flats are far enough away and build on solid ground so I'm not worried about us, but the car park wasn't built on such solid ground and it's second time similar happened which is why insurance say we had prior knowledge.

Council were here apparently after I left this evening, Nathan had a word with them but they aren't very chatty he said, he did find out they are not planning to put the car park back to rights which makes me wonder what they are planning.
