Re: Do you still celebrate your birthday?

I have not bothered with birthdays for years mine or anyone else's Most of mine were not events growing up and when I got baptized as a JW l no longer celebrated them. I would rather have a gift as a surprise that have a special day for them.

Happy Birthday Floydy!

MrMags and I, wouldn't usually bother much about our birthdays but our son and daughter always make it a special day and our granddaughter usually bakes a lovely decorated cake for us

Does your birthday still mean a 'special day' to celebrate or is it just another day to you?

Not sure I'd call it celebrating these days but we usually have a meal out somewhere and my daughter and grandson always make sure I'm spoiled with pressies and hugs.

Happy birthday, Floydy.. Hope it was a good 'un !

I like to be on holiday for mine. No-one in the family bothers with me.

Re: Do you still celebrate your birthday?

Thanks again, folks.
Had a great afternoon out with a buddy. Plenty of nice ales and even a couple of free whiskeys to boot!
Cheers all!
