Re: Could I have your prayers please

It's been a long night, should be done in about half an hour or so I'm told.

I've got heart problems myself so it is a little frightening to think in 30 years time my family could be in the same boat with me in that situation, but no point dwelling on things or thinking about myself at a time like this.

Lightening the subject a little, it is damn cold here in Scotland tonight. I'm outside now having a coffee and cigarette and my feet are like blocks of ice. Global warming my ass.

Jim matey, what news from the front-line??? Did your M-I-L come through the operation ok??? (I sincerely hope so). Must have been a long, cold and tiring night for you, but your family 'here' are all on tenterhooks awaiting your (hopefully) good news.

Re: Could I have your prayers please

It gives me great pleasure to say God was with us and she got through it surprisingly well so the docs said!

She's already complaining about the food so that's her back to normal then!!
