i worked in the NHS in the 60's and 70's what a joy - hard work but good - none of the problems I here now - but less immigrants or course - many of them good workers in the NHS - less druggies of course. There is clearly a cock up in the whole system starting with GP's who can't or won't handle the job properly [and we have GP's in OZ who simple wont see druggies - just refuse! -] and the hospital system - we used to have ambulance stacking at one time - nurses fighting government for more staffing - we are all trying to run what should be a good system with less money and staff - it's that simple - do you have security guards now in A&E?Re: A&E In Crisis

Triage does work quite well, problem now is GP's are sending a lot more through the A & E dept.Re: A&E In Crisis
