On the night and early hours of February 20-21, 1954, while on a ‘vacation’ to Palm Springs, California, President Dwight Eisenhower went missing and allegedly was taken to Edwards Air force base for a secret meeting. When he showed up the next morning at a church service in Los Angeles, reporters were told that he had to have emergency dental treatment the previous evening and had visited a local dentist. The dentist later appeared at a function that evening and presented as the ‘dentist’ who had treated Eisenhower. The missing night and morning has subsequently fueled rumors that Eisenhower was using the alleged dentist visit as a cover story for an extraordinary event. The event is possibly the most significant that any American President could have conducted: an alleged ‘First Contact’ meeting with extraterrestrials at Edwards Air Force base (previously Muroc Airfield), and the beginning of a series of meetings with different extraterrestrial races that led to a ‘treaty’ that was eventually signed. This astonishing First Contact event, if it occurred, will experience its 50th anniversary on February 20-21, 2004.

My belief is that the technology taken from the crashed alien spacecraft at Roswell has slowly been released over the past 50 odd years, just look at the advances we've made over the short period of 50 years compared to the hundreds of thousands of years we've been on this planet without as much as piece of iron to forge a tool.
I also believe the best is yet to be released, anti gravity technology which will open up the universe and the world will never be the same again, but with the present turmoil in the world, we are not ready for this great advance just yet.
No we are definitely not alone.

JEM, it's hard to believe, but the evidence seems quite compelling.

My guess is that if any other beings exist and are aware of us, they've long ago decided to leave us alone..............for now!

Just a thought.. I have long wondered why some men part their hair on the "girls" side, that is to say, their right hand side. Could it be they are aliens who although copying our physical appearance with meticulous care, blundered with the side of the male "Aliens" parting, hence making them stand out as aliens (to those in the know)

We were very conscious of the parting of the hair thing when we were at school Robert, woe betide the unfortunate boy who was ""On the wrong side of O'Connell Street", his loving mother thought she was doing it right as the boy would be facing her when she combed it for him. "Mammy's little boy, can't comb his own hair yet", the poor lad would be reduced to tears, kids can be very cruel to other kids.

Kids certainly can be cruel JEM. Maybe its because they havent yet learnt subtlety. OR maybe it's because like the very old, they don't see the need for discretion, or tiptoeing around "sensitively" & tell it like it is.
