Wouldn't gamble either online or offline. It's generally throwing money away for nothing...

..neither would I, it is a fools game as far as I am concerned.
Any small savings I have were accumulated through years of hard work and I would not wish to throw them away.

Even though I gave you my story earlier and do play online., I agree it is a mugs game and I'm appalled at how much some seem to spend on it.
However it is entertainment, and you would spend money on that, whether it's going to see a film or an evening down the pub or whatever, so used responsibly it is fine.

Re: Would you gamble on line ?

I don't gamble on or off line. Never have, never will. It's not a moral position, it's a practical one. When I was a teenager I worked part-time at both a dog racing track and a bookies and saw first hand that the only person who ever wins is the bookmaker. I don't think I owe bookies a living, so why should I give them my money for nothing?

Re: Would you gamble on line ?

Breakfast TV interviewed a recovering gambler this morning and he talked of paying off his debts, but some aspects he's ignored, like CCJs, and says his credit file is horrendous.

Is it worth it????
