Re: The Dustbin

We have two bins, one for recycling and one for rubbish.
I don't give a damn that anyone knows I don't drink.

I forgot to answer the question. I doubt anybody gets any info from my bins, they are not emptied by a dustman but by a hydraulic thing on the side of the truck, so no-one sorts individual bins.

Any documents with private info on it I shred before they go in the recycle bin (not that there are many anyway) and I don't use a flybuys card.

As far as I know no one has sorted through my bins when they are standing outside my house and once in the truck they are mixed with everybody's rubbish. I think that there would be slim picking from my rubbish but anybody that wants it can have it.

Re: The Dustbin

We have two bins one for normal rubbish and one for recycling plus a smaller bin for food waste.

As far as letters or anything with our name on it we leave and burn them in the Chimera a couple of times a year.

Re: The Dustbin

Our trash gets collected every Thursday AM by one truck that has a section built into the side for recyclables. The garbage gets thrown in the back of the truck.

The men just do their job, don't meander through bottles or yak about it. They're very efficient as they're on a schedule, they put our recycling box on the grass & off they go.

Re: The Dustbin

We have two Garbage trucks. One for household rubbish and one which does week about recycling or green waste.

I shred all paper and put it in the compost bin or on the garden under mulch.

My week's garbage consists of one plastic bag (Bio degradeable) 8" by
12". Hardly worth the effort of putting it out.
