Re: Haunting you

I must add that I don't sit, 24/7 thinking of all these things!! I'm just saying that some things stick in your mind for a while. That's all I'm saying!! Yes of course life goes on, but like other threads, they are about experiences of the past.

Re: Haunting you

There are many benefits to living life in reverse, there are many drawbacks also.

Re: Haunting you

How can we not be haunted by what is happening right now in Gaza or in Iraq where 30,000 Yazidi refugees are trapped on Mount Sinjar in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq. Many have already died, there are babies and children and frail elderly people on a mountain side for days with no food or shelter with their lives in ruins. I think of it every night as I get into my comfortable bed.

Re: Haunting you

Though your eyes, see shipwrecked sailors, your still dry
The outlooks fine, though Wales might have some rain
Saved again

Let's skip the news boy (I'll make some tea)
The Arabs and the Jews boy (Too much for me)
They get me confused boy (put's me off to sleep)
And the thing I hate-Oh Lord
Is staying up late, to watch some debate, on some nation's fate.

Re: Haunting you

Had a lovely walk with the Ramblers from Dunblane to Allan Water and back.

Dunblane is such a beautiful place and we went into the Cathedral where there must have been great sadness after their tragedy.

There will always be a legacy of sadness and shock there, but I have to say it's such a beautiful place and seems to have moved on, of which I'm happy for.
