A cold plate in a restaurant is just not right. A complete turn off before you start eating!

My micro is my plate heater. Warms them perfectly.

I think if you are taking too much time with the roast that's why the rest is going cold. Warm plates yes but with a roast you need to take it out to rest. After about 20 minutes start cutting it whilst the Yorkshires and roasts
are in the oven and the veg cooking etc. When you then put your meat on the plate it might have cooled a little but the gravy will warm it
up again. Don't forget the gravy

No wonder there is global warming, wasting energy on warming plates, i can see my spuggies dropping off their perches so the cardi wearing set can have warm plates.

How very dare you - besides, you warm the plates in the already warm oven
